Mironov will give a presentation “Organ Printing as a Creative Revolutionary Technology” as part of the “Open Innovations 2014” forum at the Moscow Technopolis on October 15 from 1 p.m. to 2.30 p.m.

THE ART OF STAYING YOUNG -- BREAKTHROUGH TECHNOLOGIES OF LONGEVITY

Increasing life expectancy is a crucial goal of humanity. The workshop will host discussions of revolutionary technologies allowing to prolong human life. Participants of the event will discuss regenerative medicine and the latest achievements in biofabrication, including cultivation of organs, tissue engineering and bioprinting. Gene control will also be discussed, including rejuvenation with the help of stem cells, identification and regulation of the genes responsible for ageing, predictive medicine. Furthermore, the agenda includes the topic of synthetic biology as a method of identifying genes and gene networks controlling the mechanism of cell ageing.
